Helin Sarikas studied Social Sciences at the Georg-August-University Göttingen and Istanbul Technical University, as well as Political Sciences at the University of Cologne. During her studies, she gained her first practical experience in public relations at a foundation and a human rights organization. At the Mercator Institute, Helin Sarikas initially worked as a research assistant in Communications from November 2018. Since February 2021, she has been working as an editor.
