Research & Development
In order for researchers to be able to work in the best possible way, they need appropriate infrastructures. The Mercator Institute maintains various scientific infrastructures and offers research-based services. These include the "research database Lernertexte - FD-LEX", the "reference vocabulary for schools", which will be activated in the second quarter of 2021, and "What works?."
Forschungsdatenbank Lernertexte (in German)
The web-based database enables research in a text corpus of 5,628 learner texts in German. The texts were collected in fifth and ninth grades at comprehensive schools and grammar schools. The database is currently being expanded - also in cooperation with the Verbund Forschungsdaten Bildung (VerbundFBD).more
