Claudia Pietsch studied Cultural and Political Science at the University of Bremen and Midsweden University as well as Intercultural Communication and European Studies at the University of Applied Science Hochschule Fulda. During her studies, she gained practical experience on cultural and event management at the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the EU Delegation to the Republic of South Africa.
After her studies, she worked at a concept and event agency with a focus on civic education and sustainable realisation.
At Mercator-Institute she works as event manager primarily within the programme “Education through Language and Literacy (ELaL).
