Anne Griepentrog studied at the University of Cologne to be a primary school teacher specializing in linguistic, mathematical, and aesthetic education. She completed her studies with a Master of Education in 2021. Since 2020 she has been working at the Mercator Institute for Literacy and Language Education in the project Die Schreibstarken. Schreibflüssigkeit trainieren in der Grundschule (Practice writing fluency in elementary school). In 2021 she began working in this project as a research associate. She has also been working on the project Starke BASIS! since 2022.
